Your visa application is processed by the relevant Australian Visa Office. Visa applications are processed by Departmental officers. Australian Biometric Collection Centre staff do not process or decide visa applications.
The Australian Visa Office encourages lodging complete applications to avoid processing delays. When submitting your application, please refer to the document checklist to identify the supporting documents to attach to your application.We are unable to advise applicants of a likely decision date.

If you included an email address on your visa application the Visa Processing Office will communicate with you through this email address. It is important to check your junk email regularly to ensure that emails from the Visa Processing Office have not accidentally been sent to junk.
